The golf course has been designed by internationally renowned golf designer David Jones, a board member of the European Tour and former Kenya Open Champion. He represented Greta Britain and Ireland and latterly Europe, in the PGA Cup matches against the USA, twice a captain and seven times as a player. David has designed golf courses all over the world and brings a wealth of talent and experience to the project as well as his long standing appreciation of East Africa
The par for the golf course will be 72, with the traditional mix of four par threes, four par fives and ten par fours. There will be four sets of tees for each hole, allowing the course to be played from a championship length of around 6,500m down to a gentle 5,400m. All the greens will be built to USGA specs which is accepted standard for high quality surfaces throughout the world. With large greens, subtle changes of elevation, and strategically placed bunkers, the course has been designed to allow all golfers a fair route to the fairways and greens.
