Muzuri Projekt is a nonprofit foundation under Muzuri Tours which recognizes that sustainable development, which balances economic development, social cohesion, and environment protection, is fundamental to the objective of lasting poverty reduction.
Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) remains one of the most impoverished regions of the planet, but also houses significant examples of the globe’s most valuable biodiversity—charismatic megafauna, a great diversity of birds, endemic plants and ecological processes (e.g. the Serengeti migration, Ngorongoro caldera, significant north-south bird migrations)
Pervasive poverty and social inequities remain major constraints to sustainable development in Africa. Poverty is both a cause and an effect of environmental degradation. The equitable, efficient and productive use of natural resources offers important opportunities for sustainable livelihoods that can contribute to reducing poverty
We aim to improve the living conditions of Tanzanian people by enhancing sustainable development and use of natural resources
To conserve and restore biodiversity for a healthy environment and sustainable community development
To protect endangered wildlife, their habitats and conserving environment for a long-term sustainable development
